A Study of Korean Drama
Thoughts on dramas & movies I watch.
Drama & movie news that interests me.

I love analyzing stories, characters, writing, and ogling at everything in between. Not an expert on k-dramas by any means, just a strong & growing interest.

Yeon Woo Jin and Han Groo are in a new drama together!

Aw, how cute are they?

Previously, up for the role for the female lead in this drama was Honey Lee, whom I like, but ya know…I’m glad she turned it down and they went in this direction. The first half of the teaser shows a reluctant Yeon as a smiley Han clings to him and the second half is him warming up to her with a little smile.

The drama, called Marriage Without Love (or Marriage Not Dating), is about a young man, Gong KI Tae, who is pressured by his parents to get married. Having no interest in the prospect whatsoever, he gets a young lady he knows they will hate to pose as his bride-to-be. She’s real old fashioned, too—being someone who doesn’t even own a smart phone and prefers sending letters to texts. Will one of them be a love letter??

Honestly, it sounds great and with tVN behind it, you know you’re getting quality as I always find they do a lot with a little.

The 16 episode drama premieres July 4th!

So over you, Seo In Guk. The cheeky look is really everything and when it comes to cheeky, I guess there is no better choice than this guy.

The drama, High School King of Savvy, about a high school hockey player who lives a double life as a manager in major company is just ridiculous enough to warrant me wanting to watch it, as well. But, it’s the teasers and other promo material that really did me in. The tone, the cast, and the light, breezy fun-ness of it all should make for a good summer watch, no?

The king begins his double life on the 16th of this month! For now, just enjoy the posters released from tVN.
